A Welcome Message from FoTR President, John Bailey
Hello! My name is John Bailey and I am very excited to welcome you to the Friends of Tufts Rowing (FoTR) family. Sofia Shield, Jeff Aalberg, Tafari Duncan, and I started this organization to create a community for alumni and supporters of Tufts Rowing. Our goals are to (1) connect alumni wherever they may be, (2) support current student-athletes through mentorship, and (3) raise money to assist the team and its endeavors. Over the course of 2018, we will be hosting several events in various locations across the county as well as at several regattas where Tufts competes. We hope to see many of you there! I am also excited to announce that we will be establishing a mentoring network! I know that its crucial for undergraduates to have access to established professionals to help them learn about certain careers and fields. This network will connect student-athletes with alumni in their fields of interest. There will be more information to follow and we are excited to have many of you participate.
The Tufts Rowing Community is amazing and has been incredibly powerful in my life. I know that together we can help impact the lives of current student-athletes and each other. Go Jumbos!
